Boston Youth
Symphony Orchestras

A home for young musicians to flourish through exceptional orchestras, ensembles, and classical music experiences in Boston and beyond.

The Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) is one of the most prestigious, comprehensive, and remarkable youth orchestras in the nation.

The organization approached Pilot Studio for a rebrand to coincide with the opening of a new space called the "Youth Center for Music."

We call this symbol the 'Arc of Courage.' The mark features
an arc that merges several visual concepts: an orchestral formation,
an amphitheater, the emanation of sound, and overall growth.
The Arc is composed of abstracted forms representing the letter
'Y,' symbolizing 'Youth'—which is central to what BYSO represents
as an organization.

The BYSO acroynm logo is used on internal facing materials
directed at students, parents and employees.

The lockup for the Youth Center for Music was designed
specifically for the space occupied by BYSO, located
at 235 Huntington Avenue.
